Hi there! We had a little audio issue while recording the challenges this month, we have included closed captions (subtitles) in case of any confusion. Thanks for your understanding!

Crunchy frog? 😂 Love the name. Some inspo for my song choice. Hope to be able to get back on the silks for this ❤️

Super fun one! I’ve got the fundamentals of this, but I keep getting wildly tangled getting out of the flying squirrel, even though I’m keeping my tails and loops to one side of my crossed legs. Would love some tips on the exit please!

Very fun sequence this month! surprisingly I started yesterday, splitting it in two parts. letting apart the mess with my feet, I found the split part difficult, because I don’t have the beautiful Rachel’s straddle, so my pose looks a bit bleah.
Any suggestion for any other pose?
also for the squirrel part, I almost loose my shirt in transitioning from the simil-split to the squirrel. there’s something i can do other than a outfit change that would help me not to trap my shirt in the silks mess?
Thank you!-

Added to the list! Try tucking in the shirt for the moment. Rachel tends to train in a leo, shirts certainly get eaten in loops!

Hello! I hope to try the mini rig version, but I shouldn’t jolt the rig where I am. Do you have any tips for making the drop section as smooth as possible? Thanks as always! Love these challenges. Robin

Thank you for the QnA, it took me time to figure out fancy feet but now I am ok with it. Now my main struggle is coming upright from the upside down straddle before the split. I watched QnA and I think Alejandro had the same problem, I heard your reply and yes, I did feel my hips are not even and I just cannot come up naturally – i have to grab the silks and force my way up and end up in a not very comfortable position. In my next training session I will try to concentrate on having my hips more even. Lets see!

hello and thanks for the Q&A yesterday, always precious!
i think i have the same problem reported by alejandro and now i also see from kseniya on this thread. i try to upload a video of my personal tragedy: i have to force myself to reach the poles first with one hand and then with the other. is there some trick to grab them simultaneously? i will try in the next few days to force myself to understand if intuitively i can do it alone during my training -

For @kseniya as well, there is a little trick that often happens without thinking as we get comfortable with skills where we sit up with tails in our hands. The tails will slide a bit as we rotate up rather than holding the tails tight to allow the right about of fabric for our up right shape. You will still grab the poles about ear height as Rachel suggests to start to calibrate whether you grab higher or lower based on your flexibility for the split shape. As you sit up, press through the feet into the loops, ease on the grip just enough to let the tails slide slightly to then grab the poles. The squareness of the hips is key as Rachel says. And this will give you more room to rotate rather than a set about of fabric to work with. Note that Rachel does not let her lower back arch too much, she stays really tight through the low core. If the low back arches a lot, you will find a different stuck shape once you are upright, poles in hand!
Happy training!
